Denim Day

2010-12, 17-18

There is no excuse and never an invitation to rape.

The Denim Day campaign is a protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault. In this rape prevention education campaign, community members, elected officials, artists, businesses and students are asked to wear jeans as a visible means of protest against misconceptions that surround sexual assault. Denim Day occurs every April, during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
